August maintenance release 20.1.1 would be available on the play store now .... except that google is blocking the update and claiming that we are lying because we declared that you can't create an #OpenStreetMap account in the app and their automated and broken policy violation detection has detected that you can.

Anybody that has used the app knows that google is hallucinating, but unluckily it still means that we have to start the appeals process with no guarantee of a positive outcome.

@vespucci Have you considered using #F-Droid ? Or are you already using it as I can find it there?

@roland F-Droid isn't an app store, it is a, very, opinionated build service for people that align with a specific ideology.

Nothing against that, but it is not a replacement for a regular app store (for example there is no easy way for a developer to stop distribution of a particular build, just for one of its many deficiencies).

@roland PS: Vespucci has been avail on F-Droid for many years, but if you need to / want to get a build from a different source than google that has full functionality, we would recommend simply retrieving the APK from our github repo https://github.com/MarcusWolschon/osmeditor4android/releases
