Hi everyone! THIS IS IT!
After ten years, my company will finally switch from Google Maps to OpenStreetMap!!
I'm really excited. Through, the hard work is coming. We are a carpooling company, so we don't only need some maps to display data. We need Geocoding / Reverse geocoding, Directions (itineraries), an autocomplete input field to allow users to search for addresses... GMap was providing all that. I already find https://switch2osm.org
which lists some libs, but I'd love to hear from real developers, so I'm calling for feedbacks. Are you using OSM and other projects to do that? Have you tips and projects to share? Remember, this is for professional projects, so we need solid rock libraries. We surely can adapt / improve them a bit if they are open source, but can't spend weeks on that. For example nominatim doesn't seem very accurate and often doesn't find the entered address, but I'm sure it can be configured to fit our needs. So please share your feedback and resources on the topic!
