This Iranian conflict feels like a real life version of Dune playing out. Trump is Baron Harkonnen trying to rule through oppression and overwhelming military force and the Iranians are the Fremen cutting off the production of Spice Melange. The Spacing Guild is going to switch sides to whomever can guarantee the Spice (Oil) freely flows.
