Steam doesn't launch, steamwebhelper keeps crashing?

In case if you have update Steam (it does it by itself) and steamwebhelper keeps crashing and you wonder why (also "console" output is not showing any significant messages), your GPU kernel module might be out-dated.

This was the case here with my #NVIDIA kernel module:

  • current: 470.103.01-1~b
  • available: 470.223.02-1

And this is what I got repeatedly:

I'm currently feeling a bit lazy to upgrade and restart my whole desktop as this involves restarting a lot of programs, too.
