I can understand that rules are rules but could you not overly fast lock the topic (I posted it in German language) but instead notify me about it and let me translate it? To quickly applied rules feels very strict and a bit unnatural. It is is natural to 1) ask the author to fix his mistakes he made and 2) if no response happens (give the author some time, not everyone has every day time left!) then lock it. But overly fast locking it feels simply bad.Rules are rules but enforcing them nicely or strictly is what you have to consider.
